Apple TV 4K cannot find library on MacBook Air

I know that this has been asked a fair few times before and I have been through all the steps, but nothing I do is working and am going more and more insance as each attempt passes.

I have an external HD attached to my M2 Air and on this I have logged out of Apple ID, back in, re-established Home Share and in tthe TV app popinted this towards where my external drive is with my downloads on. In Settings>Sharing>Media Sharing I have given the library there a unique name also, sothat I can easily spot it.

On the TV box I have also logged out and back in, re-established Home Share and fully powered off the unit (power cable removed for 3 mins) and then powered back on.

When I use the Computers App, it does find a library, but this it does not show the conteents of the hard drive, it only appers to show a very old library with less than 1/3 of the contents. This is also the same when I access it from both my iPhone and iPad.

All the content was purchased from iTunes too.

ANyone have any odeas on how I can show the library from the external drive

Ozzie1910, very many thanks for responding and also highlightin that I missed information out on my original post.

The issue is to do with movies that I have purchased and downloaded to bring with me on latest work deployment, which is why I am using the computers app. Music is all good. I also have an active Apple One Premier subscription too.
