Unable to update MacPro Retina 13in 2014 beyond MacOS Big Sur

Latest Microsoft 365 won't download on MacPro Retina 13in 2014, which has MacOS Big Sur, since I meed latest software installed. But, search on the laptop says it is up to date. It is not, it has Big Sur. Search shows my laptop is not compatible with latest software updates, so what do I do now?

Big Sur is the latest version of macOS it can run.

Your options are…

Use an alternative office suite such as LibreOffice
Acquire a new Mac

It is, at least for that model. It’s too old to support newer MacOS which are required to run Microsoft 365
