What MacBook would be better for highschool?

Im in need of a new computer for school because my old one just died on me and I would like to go to MacBooks because of how they are because I use a Mac mini at home but which one would be better for me because everything I do can be done on a Chromebook so that's my question

A base model MacBook Air would be an excellent choice, especially considering its standard 16GB RAM (Since October). It’s available at the Apple Education Store for $899. Alternatively, you can find more affordable deals in their Refurbished Mac store, starting at $749 for the M2 Air or $829 for the M3 Air. You can also find similar deals at other stores. In fact, you can even use the M1 or M2 MacBook Air or Pro if you can find them at prices lower than Apple currently sells the them for.

New from Apple:

MacBook Air with M2 chip: MacBook Air with M2 chip

MacBook Air with M3 chip: 13-inch MacBook Air, 15-inch MacBook Air

Refurbished from Apple:

M2 chip 13-inch MacBook Air with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD - Silver - $749 (saving $250 or 25%)

M2 chip 15-inch MacBook Air with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD - Silver - $929 (saving $370 or 28%)

M2 chip 15-inch MacBook Air with 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD - Midnight - $1069 (saving $430 or 28%)

M3 chip 13-inch MacBook Air with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD - Space Gray - $829 (saving $270 or 24%)

M3 chip 15-inch MacBook Air with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD - Midnight - $999 (saving $300 or 23%)

New from Amazon and Walmart:

(100,000% recommend) - M1 MacBook Air with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD - (saving $350 or 35%) [Walmart]

M2 13-inch MacBook Air with 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD - $749 (saving $250 or 25%) [Amazon]

M3 13-inch MacBook Air with 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD - $899 (saving $200 or 18%) [Amazon]

I hope this helps! Both the M1 and M2 models helped me get through high school this year, so I highly recommend the M1 model.
