I have tried several different wireless lavaliere microphones on my iPhone 14 plus but none will work. I plugged the adapter in as instructed to no avail, it connects fine to my MacBook as well as my android and they work fine. Any help or experience with this?
I ordered several different ones that all specify they work with iPhone however none of them will work as instructions show.

Is the connection TRS, TRRS or TR? Did the mic come with an adapter to plug into iPhone or how are you connecting it?
If I remember correctly, iPhones need TRRS and your adapter is probably TRS and therefore no audio. Please contact the manufacturer of the microphone and find out what kind of connection you need.

Then contact the manufacturer of the mic you bought and ask them why it’s not working.

Thank you! I went through those steps but unfortunately neither of the mics will work through any of my apps or just by using the camera to record video.
Microphone will not connect to IPhone 14 Plus. Works fine on my android and MacBook.
