Homepod Mini states it is on a seperate wifi network when trying to use alarms but is actually on the same wifi network
I have been experiencing an issue for a while now where, when attempting to use alarms or timers on my phone via the Home App or the Home Widget, my Homepod Mini states that "Alarms can be viewed and managed only when this Homepod is on the same network as this iPhone". This message is also seen on my iPad if I attempt to modify my Homepod's alarms/timers from that device as well.
However, I have confirmed that both devices are on the same network. I have confirmed this by checking the Homepod Mini's network via the Home app, and my iPhone and iPad's network via the settings app. I am able to play music fine, and my Homepod Mini can access the internet for Siri fine. It is only the timer/alarms that seem broken.
Things I have already tried to fix the issue:
- Confirming that both my iPhone and Homepod Mini are on the same network
- Disconnecting my iPhone from the wifi network and reconnecting it
- Factory resetting my Homepod Mini
- Leaving my Homepod Mini in the Default Room (as suggested in an old thread with a slightly similar issue)
- Attempting to connect both devices to a different network
None of the above have fixed my issue, and I was unable to find another thread with the same issue I am experiencing. I appreciate any help that can be offered.
