iPhone 14 Pro not charging anymore

Recently, an energy drink was spilled all over my jeans. Not until the next day did I realize that the liquid got into the charging port of my iPhone 14 Pro. Now, it doesn't charge and is at 0%. I tried cleaning it in many different ways but without success. The phone will spontaneously turn on and show the low battery screen without the charging symbol, showing that it is charging. This screen only lasts for a few seconds, then turns off completely again.

I am not sure if the charging port is really damaged or if it just needs to be cleaned better at an authorized Apple service center...

What do you guys think?

I would guess that it means your phones battery was ruined by moisture damage or something was ruined by it anyway. I would suggest calling Apple support or taking it in to your service provider and inquiring what type of device insurance is included or that pay for and if it covers moisture damage. If not it may be up to you to replace it. If you hadn't spilled liquid on it I would have assumed it had a dead cell and just needed the battery replaced but liquid damage is more than likely your answer. It may just have taken a little bit for the liquid to get deep enough to do its damage and that it's not that it won't charge but that it just no longer works. You can also look to see if you have a phone repair shop in your area and take it in to them and see if they can help. Hope this helps.
