Why is my Beats Flex flashing white and not turning on?

This is my second set of beats flex, and I have no issues with the first however, I bought these and immediately plugged it in and it changes color from red to white. But then just flashes white and it's not a slow flash, it's a fast flash.

When I unplug it and try to turn them on nothing happens. I've tried holding the power down and the volume for 15 seconds. It does nothing i've had it plugged in for at least ten minutes so far.

Is this particular set of beats flex dead? I just took it out of the box.
