Iphone 16 hardware issues

Hi my iphone 16’s logic board failed after not even 60 days-was experiencing resets, overheating, apps crashing and after testing the outcome was I needed a new logic board. Is anyone else experiencing this?? Crazy to have this happen not even 60 days out. Also if others are having issue I encourage you to have it tested as well.

You are not alone! Bought my 16 Pro on launch day. It waited a few weeks so that the two-week return window closed and then started rebooting randomly. It kept getting worse, so I took it into an Apple store. They said the logic board needed to be replaced. I am waiting for them to get the part. They would not just give me a replacement phone, though I think they should have. I understand a lot of people who bought on or around launch day need this repair. Long time iPhone user. They should have just replaced it, the store is full of phones, instead of making me wait for a part. They should also work on quality control in their factories.

You bet I did, very forthrightly and at length. But I have to wait for a replacement part, even though they have a store full of phones. However, your observation that only a few people are having a problem is very comforting! The guy across from me at the Genius Bar today had an iPhone 16 Pro that was rebooting every few minutes. My phone isn't that bad ... yet. Of course, few is a relative term. One percent of a million is 10,000 people who paid for a pricey phone and aren't getting what they paid for. Meanwhile, if you are in the market for an iPhone 16 Pro you may want to wait a bit for Apple to get the quality control sorted out. I hope the replacement part isn't defective too.
