Disable Accent Menu (Press and Hold) for external keyboard on iPad OS.

I am trying to disable, press and hold for my external keyboard in iPad OS, it makes SSH into my server an absolute nightmare since my VIM bindings do not work… I can’t even type notes on obsidian using the same shortcuts because of the press and hold feature. What is the point of the key repeat setting if press and hold prevents the characters from repeating in the first place!
