About no7 years ago I saved many files, music and photos from my then Windows 7 to my Apple Time Capsule. I have not touched the Time capsule since changing my Windows desktop about 5 years ago. I have been trying to access the Time Capsule but my network will not recognise it. I have a LAN.
Is there a solution you could suggest please.

recall though with one update of windows the smb version that the apple made tool to communicate with the disc was blocked (because of security issues) in windows could also be the issue you're facing
