iPhone 14 Pro Max Health app underreporting walking distance

Went on a walk today, when entered into HowFarDidIRun indicated a 2.3 mile walk but Health App reported only 1.8 miles. Step numbers seem accurate but distance seems off. Have already checked, height and weight are still accurate.

Health App Does Not Update Walking + Running Distance on my iPhone Since the recent software update, my walking + running distance does not update. I can find my distance covered by clicking on the history for the week, month etc. but this is inconvenient Incredibly frustrating!!

Fitness challenge not accurately noting miles The fitness challenge is not picking up accurately on the number of miles I walk each day. The fitness app and the health app both show that I have walked over five miles per day, but the award says that I have not achieved any days of 4.2 miles or more. Why not?
