Apple Watch chimes while charging

After I updated my series

7 Apple Watch to watchOS 11.1 it began chiming when I placed it on the charging pad I have used without incident since I bought the watch. I know this is when it began because it surprised me when it chimed the first time I charged it after the update. It chimes later, I suppose after fully charging (I use the optimized charging option), but it frequently chimes more times. Not always and not the same number of times. It does it with the 3rd party charger I’ve always used and with my genuine Apple charger.

I’m at a loss to stop it. All the suggestions and articles say to use an Apple charger, clean the charger, check that there’s no wrap on the chsrger, etc. All done I’m open to new comments. Thanks
