Turning off “Ready for Repair or Trade In” on repaired iPhone

How to Fix “iPhone Ready for Repair or Trade In” Not Going Away

1. Go to your iPhone's Settings app and select Face ID & Passcode. Enter your passcode on the next page.
2. Scroll down to Stolen Device Protection and select this tab.
3. Toggle Stolen Device Protection off.
4. Navigate back to your Settings homepage.
5. Click your name
6. find my
7. Toggle Find My IPhone off and then after a few second toggle it back on
8. Navigate back to your Settings homepage and select Face ID & Passcode. Enter your passcode on the next page.
9. Scroll down to Stolen Device Protection and select this tab.
10. Toggle Stolen Device Protection on.
11. Go to Find My app
12. The "iPhone Ready for Repair or Trade" should be gone
