Apple pencil pro battery drain.

Hi, is it normal for a pencil pro to works for only 3 hours. I am using it for procreate. Every 3 hours it goes from 100 to 20% even though i have turned off all pencil features. And it stops writing from time to time. It usually used to work after I zoom in or out on procreate but today it stopped working completely. It’s charging but no touch. It might work after i restart my ipad but come on I don’t want to keep restarting it daily. I stared using it from oct 10.
