The iCloud browser is not supported on my MacBook Pro

I have a Macbook Pro 13 inch mid 2009, and I am having trouble connecting to the iCloud Drive. And the latest software I can update it to is the OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6

Does anyone have any pointers on how I can fix this issue?

Not to fret, my friend.

Last year I replaced a 15" MBP 2012 with a 15" MBAir 2022... and I absolutely do not regret making the move. When you do bite the bullet, yes, there will be some pain mostly because you are likely still using some 32-bit software, but the modern OS, apps and new hardware are very nice upgrades. For me I got the same screen size but actually with smaller footprint and less weight.

I'd wager that the 16" MBP is every bit as nice as your 17" model, and slimmer and lighter, too.

Your old MBP wants to retire and you should let it. 🙂
