Factory reset locked iPhone without Apple Account password

My aunt gave me her old iPhone that she doesn’t know the Apple ID password on and whatever phone number that was connected to it is no longer in service and we’re trying to just factory reset it so I can have the phone

It’s saying the account is locked because we’ve tried millions of different passwords but none of them are working

Your aunt, assuming she is the original owner of this iPhone and can provide valid proof of purchase information, must enroll in an activation lock support request

If you need help removing Activation Lock and have proof of purchase documentation, you can start an Activation Lock support request.
