Attachments for Facebook

I'm having much difficulty in attaching a article I read on MSN News to a friend on Facebook. While I'm sometimes able to attach the image, (photo) of the article, the text does not show up. I have fiddled with many different things to try and get a article I've read on MSN news to attach to a Facebook page of a friend. A friend of mine said access the little icon at the top right that has a box with little arrow through it with my iMac that has options to copy and send what you want copied and sent. But, I don't see that icon on my iMac with Monterey OS. I guess thats too easy? Sure would like some help and suggestions as to how I can accomplish what would seem to be simple task?
