I reset all settings on my iphone 16pro , after that i am not getting WhatsApp messages notifications however i get notification of calls but messages notifications don’t appear. I have tried turning on notifications from the settings app but there is no WhatsApp app in the notifications section in the settings app. Please help resolve the issue.

If your WhatsApp chats are that important you should be backing them up. You would lose all if you had a disastrous mishap with the phone such as a hardware failure, software failure that required resetting the iPhone, drop in a toilet or thrown under a bus.
How huge is the data? You can rent up to 1 TB of iCloud storage for backups.
You can try a force quit of the app→How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support, which will not delete app data.
Other than that, you will have to do without notifications.
Delete WhatsApp and redownload it.
I can’t delete WhatsApp because i might lose my data as WhatsApp backup can’t be done due to huge data.
