problems with Siri, not working iPhone 16 Pro Max

Ever since the latest update to my iPhone 16 Pro Max, Siri keeps freezing won’t respond to the usual Siri or hey Siri only way to fix it is to power cycle the phone

I am also having issues with SMS text messages I get failed to send errors.if I turn off iMessage SMS messaging works fine

The minute I turn back on iMessage those fails in messages come back. I have reset the network settings makes no difference between that and between Siri I’m starting to contemplate a factory reset which I am dreading. I’m hoping somebody has ideas on how to fix this. Thank you.
