Unable to export unmodified original from the photos app to one drive. I can export jpgs from photos to one drive without an issue, but the dng version isn’t working. The photos app says it exported, but it does not appear in one drive. Sometimes, the entire photos app freezes and I have to kill it.
i have plenty of space in one drive and i know the connection works because I can export jpgs.
I was able to export fine on iOS 18.0, seems to have broken on 18.1
Something is definitely broken, instead of selecting “export unmodified originals”, I chose to upload directly to OneDrive. It exported as a dng with no issue. For whatever reason, selecting “export unmodified original” is the issue, even though directly selecting OneDrive chose it as the “unmodified” version of the file.
i guess this is fine, but the photo upload workflow has changed?

Works for me in iPadOS 18.1.1: I reformatted a SanDisk thumb drive on the iPad as APFS and shared via "export unmodified originals" from Photos .dng, .cr3, and .cr2 images to it. On the Mac those images displayed OK. Maybe some little detail in your workflow might explain the issue? Sometimes a simple reboot might fix things.
