iPad 10.9 2024 charger
i have purchased an iPad 10.9 2024 as a Christmas gift and can’t work out which charger/plug it will use, and because it is a gift, I don’t want to open it to check.
is it the same charger as an iPhone 15?
thanks

Presumably you have purchased your iPad within the European Union, or the United Kingdom. iPads purchased within this region are generally only supplied with a charging cable - the Power Adapter, if required, being an additional purchase option.
In countries where a Power Adapter is not included in the box with the iPad, a USB-C Power Adapter rated at 20W or greater that supports USB PD (Power Delivery) will be suitable to charge your iPad. All Apple USB-C Power Adapters support USB PD. That said, your iPad requires at least 12W to reliably charge.
In countries/regions where USB-C Power Adapter is supplied with the iPad, a country-specific Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter will be included in the box.

A newly purchased iPad will have the correct charge cube and cable included. Most likely it will be a 20 watt cube and USB-C cable.

Thanks LotusPilot. I wasn't aware of this.

You're very welcome. I evidently correctly identified your location 🙂
20W USB-C Power Adapter
UK: https://store.apple.com/uk/xc/product/MUVT3B/A
EU: https://www.apple.com/fr/shop/product/MUVV3ZM/A/adaptateur-secteur-usb
Just went to the Apple Store online at the bottom of the page is a "What's in the Box" section and it comes with a cable and the charge plug. In any case you will need at least a 20W USB-C charger. If you wish to purchase a second one.
Hope this helps.

To clarify - current models of iPad and iPhone supplied within the EU do not include a Power Adapter in the box. Apple's EU website clearly states that only a Charging Cable is included.
While the UK is not an EU Member State (post Brexit), the UK is similarly deprived of a Power Adapter in the box. This is similarly identified on Apple's UK website.
Thank you for your reply. As far as I know, it only comes with the cable and not a plug? But I don’t know which one to purchase
You are welcome. Please see the screenshot below (taken from the Apple site for that model).
Thanks for the additional information LotusPilot. I wasn’t aware of that difference in the UK models.
