Apps don’t work after updating to iOS 18.1.1

Most apps on my iPad seem to work, but I noticed that in Safari, I cannot checkout when I choose PayPal. There is no way to continue the checkout process, so it is stopping the PayPal process due to some new setting that is in place, but I don’t know what it is (blocking pop ups? Stopping some other process that I need to uncheck?)

I did not wish anything to change especially when time is short. All I wanted to do was charge my phone overnight as usual. Now I hate my phone. My photos that I took time to put into albums and were easily found is a mess. My school app doesnt recognize my password. I cant easily find my search engine and google has taken over my phone!

message app - it worked early this morning. After 11 am it would not let me send a text. I notice that I had not received any text since 11 am. I would open the app and it would freeze. It would not let me scroll to look at all text. After doing what was suggested by the help chat on AT&T app - the app now will not pull up anything. It is completely blank. I spent a lot of time with an agent/specialist in the chat. I answered all his questions. He couldn’t figure it out. He didn’t return the disconnected call after saying he would. Very frustrating. I can’t ever go into the settings and click on message. It will freeze everything.

My banking app (TheCitizensBankofPhila) doesn’t work. It started about a month ago and when you click on it, it try’s to open and goes back to main screen (Home Screen where apps are). So they told me to delete it and redownload, I did. Same thing keeps happening. They told me contact my carrier (AT&T) but I didn’t. Can’t understand their foreign accents.

When I awoke this morning, the Fitbit Luxe would not synch with my iPhone 15 Pro. I tried turning the iPhone off and on, turning Bluetooth notifications off and on, turning Bluetooth off and on, unpairing and repairing Bluetooth, all to no avail. I finally deleted the Fitbit app and reinstalled it and that did the trick. Wasted about an hour of my time.

Try deleting and re-installing it. When you first launch it after reinstalling, you should get the option to give it permissions. I know for a fact it works under iOS 18.1.1 as I use it.

Notes app has known issues. Hopefully next update will resolve.

McDonald’s released an update a week ago with bug fixes, please make sure you’ve updated your app.

What doesn’t work in regard to App Store? Please provide specific examples.

Facebook (Meta) needs to update WhatsApp. It has know issues being reported across multiple social media platforms.

What happens when you try to download from App Store?

What country are you in? What is the issue with KBC Mobile?

so far iMessage, Amazon Music and Amazon’s Alexa apps aren’t working for me. they all work on my home wifi but not using cellular when away from home. texts all being sent sms and taking forever to deliver.

Third party apps that crash are almost always because the developer has not done the required updates to keep their app compatible. It might also be from not updating your apps to the latest version that is compatible.

What "basic features" no longer work? Unless you explain what problems you're having, it will be hard for anyone to help you. The vast majority of people who update to iOS 18.1.1 are not having major issues. If you are, it is likely that there's something else going on. If you explain what's happening to you without assuming the cause, someone may be able to help you through it.

My messages aren’t working after update toggle is on keeps loading but nothing ever populates and messages vanish 2 hours with Verizon and apple support was no help apparently I have to do a factory reset waste of my time

is anyone having trouble with the watch .. I cant get the watch to do anything except tell time...

of course 3 of the 4 phones i have are suffering battery depletion at an alarming rate since the upgrade... and you messed with my photos... good gosh why did you screw so much up

Since the update I am unable to open the Hollister or Abercrombie and fitch websites to shop. It gives error code that says bad request with code #953efc72cb264296a073000000000001. This is very annoying. Also crazy pop ups happening
