Unable to crop screenshots on mac

On my old mac, whenever I take a screenshot a small preview appears on the lower-right corner of my screen. To crop, I click on the preview and click the crop icon. I switched to a new mac recently and the screenshot preview appears as normal. However, the option to crop (and other stuff) are all gone. How do I crop pictures now?

Old Mac Versions: Catalina to Monterey

New Mac Versions: Ventura to Sonoma

Both the new mac versions don't allow me to crop the image.
