Why is the Crackle app no longer available in the App Store?

I found a post on here about Crackle, but it’s outdated. The company that owns Crackle (and Redbox) unfortunately went bankrupt and is no longer in service. The app is no longer available to download or use. I hope this helps someone save some time, as I was trying to figure out how to download it again after it gave me an error.
