Earpiece and Speaker Volume is Lower After Battery Replacement at Genius Bar Hi everyone, I recently had my iPhone 12 mini battery replaced at the Genius Bar. The battery replacement itself went smoothly, and I picked up the device the same day. However, on my way home, I noticed several foreign particles inside the front-facing camera module. I brought the phone back immediately, and thankfully the staff handled that issue quickly and professionally without any hassle. Unfortunately, I'm now experiencing a new problem. The earpiece and speaker volume are noticeably lower than before the battery replacement. I used to keep my earpiece volume around 50% during phone calls so people around me wouldn’t hear the conversation. Now even at 100%, the sound is barely adequate. Speaker volume also feels reduced — or it could be the perception due to the earpiece participating in stereo playback (like when playing music or watching videos). I'm aware that it's possible to unintentionally damage or misalign a flex cable or internal component during battery replacement — especially from my previous experiences with the iPhone 6s. That’s why I specifically chose the Genius Bar for the replacement, but I’m a bit disappointed that I’m now facing this new issue. For clarity: The device is out of warranty, But the new battery is under Apple’s 6-month service warranty. Do you think the Genius Bar would be willing to help with this issue under the service warranty, considering the symptoms started right after the battery replacement? iPhone 12 ear speaker not working Last year in June my ear speaker along with screen was changed , now again within 10 months same problem of ear speaker. last time it was manufacturing defects and again today same. why IPhone 12 ear speaker issue is not resolved. Should we go on each ten months replace it.

Bad components in iPhone 12 Pro speaker Apple refuses to repair or replace their bad components in my iPhone 12 Pro . My speaker has no sound this is a known issue within a certain manufacturing date which my phone is in that range . But due to their policy it failed a few months too late to qualify for repair or replacement. I was an Apple person and loved their products but at current thinking hard on changing and giving Samsung an opportunity to win me over . I called apple support but no one will take accountability for their known faulty components. So sad Apple this is not a good way to treat your loyal customers.

Only Apple Service center can repair it.
