Activity Monitor only displays the left column (the names of the processes) -- no other data appears

My browser's Activity Monitor has suddenly dropped all the data except for the left-most column.

Only the names of the processes appear, no other data. The screen is otherwise blank.

I've been through a number of restarts of both the browser and my MacBook Pro.

What is the likely cause and what has to be done to restore normal display?

Thanks.

Perhaps the column widths became misadjusted?

If you scroll horizontally in the window do any other columns become visible?

If you double-click the window's title bar, then the window will resize and collect all of its display columns. Double-click again and the window will narrow once again, but the columns should remain visible.

Hey thanks, D.I. Johnson, however although you were right about the other columns being all the way over on the extreme right (not visible at all without full horizontal scrolling), double-clicking the title bar only adjusts the window size.

The columns of data (except for the process names column at the left 'margin') still stay over on the extreme right, regardless of whether the window size is expanded or not.
