i have an Apple Pay issue with my phone saying i need to update, no problem you will say, but i have an iPhone X from 2017 which the latest update is iOS 16.7.10 . I need iOS 17.0 or later to get Apple Pay to work, does anyone have a work around? I can’t get in the “Apple Store app” or the “Apple Support app” which i am required to be on iOS 17.0 or later

iPhone X can’t be update beyond iOS 16.X.X However, Apple Wallet or Apple Pay do not require iOS 17 to function properly. I wonder if your bank is implementing the requirement? Banks control their cards if added to Apple Wallet.
Have you contacted your bank’s support team to confirm their requirements for Apple Wallet and Apple Pay?

Yeah that what i was scared about XD yeah imma change phone directly and get a 12 or 13 so i can finally access the Apple Store app and Apple support app :> thanks
That’s it. The NFC Module is damaged and generating an error. Return to Apple for back glass replacement and repair. Sorry.

no i didn’t contact my bank cause when i clicked the link to see more details it sends me here : “If you see a Cellular, Ultra Wideband, or Apple Pay Issue message after an iOS update or restart - Apple Support”
and it says to reinstall or update my phone’s iOS so i’ll try to reset my phone to see if it’s that or not.
my back glass is destroyed from everywhere too maybe its because of this idk :\
sometimes the Apple Pay issue pops up in the settings sometimes doesn’t, it’s pure RNG same when i double tap the power button sometimes it says that there is a problem sometimes doesn’t:\
