Statefull Firewall preventing laptop from shutting down.

My macbook air will not shut down due to stasefulFirewall trying to be installed. I have tried to quit with no success. How can I stop stateful Firewall from being installed or preventing the laptop from shutting down.

Interupting the install may damage your computer. I have tried to quit the install to no avail. My mac will not shut down short of cutting the power. This issue has been going on for two days. StatefulFirewall install stuck Hello we are getting this message on our MacBook air in some of community notes it mentions linked to mcafee and to reinstall mcafee - tried that didn't work Someone also mentioned getting Mcafee on a chat - which I am finding very hard to find out how to do this any advice welcomed

Satefull firewall is not a default macos application. Please download and install the free version of malware bytes and scan your system with it for any malware
