This happened the moment I updated to OS15 Sequoia. I won't update my other machines until this gets fixed. When in the columns selection on the finder, nothing is organized under name in abc fashion. Files or folders. see attached screenshot.
You should try sorting instead of grouping. The button in the toolbar by default is just grouping. If you hold down the option key you’ll get the sword options.
I don't understand what you mean by grouping sorry. I am trying to sort via name so it sorts alphabetically and it doesn't work. This is the way I did it in every OS before Sequoia and it worked fine.

It's been that way for about a decade. I can't remember exactly which OS version added it.
Does it work correctly with the Macintosh HD volume? How is the Graphics volume formatted?

It does this with any drive in the columns organized listing Mac HD, external, server drives, etc...
