Find my friends

I’ve read a previous questions dating back to 2017 and I know that Find My Friends satellite views haven’t updated in at least 4 years. When is Apple going to do another update and be more current????

We're all just fellow users here and have no information about if or when Apple might update any given image. If you wish to provide feedback to Apple about an image you think is outdated and causing a problem, you can do so here:

As I said, we are all just fellow users here. No one from Apple other than the forum moderators participate in these forums. Again, if you want to comment to Apple, use the Feedback pages to which I linked. Apple will not read your comments here and none of us can do anything about the issue. And Apple will not respond to your feedback, though it will be read.
