I have my phone to not do auto updates but they still come and too many folks have had issues with this last one. I really do not want it and am aware of security issues etc. but still want to stop. It’s showing it will download tonight. Any help appreciated

Disable a VPN:
Are you using a VPN? If so, disable it, proceeding with the update.
IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update
