After updating to iOS 18.1.1 my iPhone 11 Pro has been shutting off randomly

Ever since I updated my IPhone 11 Pro to iOS 18.1.1 it has been shutting off randomly, and it goes so slow.. it’s about to stress me out so bad because today it turned off 4 times, one of the times I had to get it to turn on for 5 minutes. During that time it kept showing me a black screen with contact apple support at the top and a computer with a iPhone at the bottom and a charger. What the **** is going on

Fixing a Boot Loop:

If it keeps turning on and off, then that would mean that your iPhone is in a Boot Loop. This typically occurs when you go about installing an update, and it stalled while in the process. Use my User Tip: How to Fix an iPhone in a Boot Loop - User Tip

Seeing lots off "Me Too"s, it seems that this is catching on. So,...

Report this to Apple...

So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of you occurrences, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple

  3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread

After updating to the new iOS 18.1.1 my iPhone ran just like usual, then my battery died, When I tried to charge my iPhone, NOTHING, tried every charger in the house, would not charge. Took it to the Apple store, they couldn't do a thing, ran all kinds of tests, tried resetting it. They couldn't do a thing. This update KILLED my iPhone, making me purchase a new one and because my iPhone was now DEAD I could not exchange it, even thou it's Apple's fault due to their 'System Update.' One of the Apple employees at the store said, "this is off the record & I didn't say this, but yes this has been happening and Apple should replace your phone for free."

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution!

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.
