Setting Safari as my iPhone's default browser

I signed up for a Gmail account and Google also wanted me to create a google account on my new laptop, which I did but since creating that account every time I go to use Safari, it now defaults directly to Google, even when I close it and then go back into my apps and click on Safari, it immediately default to Google again... I just want to get Safari back on my iPhone's browser, does anyone know how to do that, short of deleting my new google account?

Yes. Change the default web browser or email app on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support explains how to do it.

... Google also wanted me to create a google account on my new laptop, which I did ...

This is a bit confusing to me, since whatever you did on your iPhone to change its default browser app should not have affected your Mac. Given that uncertainty I strongly suggest that you uninstall Google from your Mac. Installing Google on a Mac effectively hijacks it into a full time information-harvesting and -uploading "bot" surrendering a substantial amount of your control and autonomy over it to Google for their sole purposes. You might as well get a Chromebook.

Fortunately Google provides uninstallation instructions that are effective and easy to follow. In any event, since I may be misinterpreting what you did, please write back if you need more help or clarification.
