Ineligible for AppleCare+ after purchase

I tried buying AppleCare+ as I wanted extra security and peace of mind and stupidly made the mistake of not purchasing it when I bought the phone but it says I am not eligible for it even though the phone was purchased December 2023 and still within the warranty period.

You have 60 days from the original date of purchase to add AppleCare+ coverage.


You missed that window by quite a few months.

Sorry. You can’t add coverage now.
