VShield Task Manager and others VShield are really needed?

I had bought Macffee Life Safe to protect the devices from the entorse Family. Some from Apple like My Mac Book Air 13” from 2021 and My iPhone 11, others from other brands. I can not ativa te the firewall in my Mac Book Air. Anyone can help please?

You also do not need McAfee at all. macOS already has great built-in security especially when the user also practices safe computing habits as outlined in the following article:

Effective defenses against malware and other threats - Apple Community


Anti-virus apps, cleaning/optimizer apps, and third party security software usually cause more problems than they solve because they interfere with the normal operation of macOS. Plus some anti-virus vendors end up selling your personal information, plus these types of apps can also decrease the built-in security of macOS.

You have listed three different issues between your subject line and the body of your question. What is it you really wish help with? If you're asking about the firewall in your Mac, that may have been taken over by McAfee. You'd want to take that up with McAfee support to confirm. But you really don't need a firewall for normal use, and firewalls generally just complicate and in some cases completely block things.
