After updating to iOS 18.1.1, my AirPods Pro 2 only have the options for Transparency Mode, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation, with no option to turn them off. i checked on my sisters phone and she had the option to turn them off
why is that and how can i turn it off ?

It works, they just changed the interface and haven't updated the help info yet. With the big volume control visible (after the long press in Control Center), if you see the three options you listed (Transparency Mode, Adaptive, and Noise Cancellation), tap to the left or right of the volume control. You will now see Noise Control, Conversation Awareness, and Spatialize Stereo. To get the other options again, tap Noise Control.
Does this work for you? I just bought my pair tonight and had to struggle through this.
That is inderdeed very weird that your sisters iPhone is not affected
have you tried to restart the paired iPhone to see if the issues persist?
i tried turning off and on my phone and parring again my air pods
Is your sister also on iOS 18.1.1? I have heard this happening a lot, and it is the reason that I have not upgraded yet, I never use the noise canceling or transparency due to my hearing issues

and idk why she can and i cant, its annoying because i dont like transparency mode and noise canceling
This has me very agitated I only use the off mode never transparency Apple please bring back the off mode.

go to your airpods settings and turn on the ‘off listening mode’ and now you’ll have 4 options in the noise control in your control center instead of 3
