Why can't I turn off Transparency Mode on AirPods Pro 2?

I cant turn off noise control on my airpods pro 2. If i have 1 airpod in i like to not have transparency mode on but for some reason i cant turn it off, if i try to it gives 3 dull beeps in quick succession. i also cant turn noise control off entirely with both airpods in.

I already tried to fix the problem by unpairing and repairing and resetting the airpods completely but it didnt work

  1. If you want noise cancellation with one AirPod, go to settings. then head over accessibility, then scroll down to "AirPods". Then tap on your AirPods Pro. Enable the toggle that says "Noise Cancellation with one AirPod".
  2. As for there not being a "Off Mode" button, your gonna want to connect your AirPods, then scroll down to until you see "Off listening mode". Turn it on.
