i activated apple tv + on my account.
i shared it with my family.
i see on my account that ive shared it to my kids and wife.
my kids can use it
my smart tv can use it
my wife cannot use it. her apple tv app opens up as if there is no plus activated
i checked my wife’s account on her phone. it shows the apple tv sub as being shared by me.
any suggestions?

Sounds like maybe the Apple ID on her iPhone is not the one you shared it with.
Have you verified the Apple ID you shared to, is the same one that is logged in to her iPhone 12 under Settings ➜ Apple ID ➜ Media & Purchases?
You can also, try to have her sign out of her Apple ID in the above location, and sign back in to try to refresh the shared subscription.

Does it ask her to subscribe?
What happens when she tries to play something from the Apple TV+ service?

hmm. that is interesting. i notice when i open up apple tv from my smart tv, she isnt in the available users.
but shes in my family account and it shows her as having been shared the subscription.
