If I have an iPhone 14, which has replaced an iPhone 11 (which I still have) and which still has all the original information on it. In fact, when I leave home, the new phone lets me know that the old one has been left behind!
As they appear to be paired, my question is, do I need to "unlink" them before clearing the old one? Otherwise, I am worried I will wipe them both!

Go to the Find My app on your iPhone. Tap Devices at the bottom of the screen, then tap the name of the device you want to set up an alert for. Below Notifications, tap Notify When Left Behind. Turn on Notify When Left Behind, then follow the onscreen instructions.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to my question. However, the process is far too complicated for me, so I think the easiest option is for me to visit a mobile phone shop (with both phones), and seek advice.
