When will iPhone get gestures like swiping from the edge of the screen for going back.

I would consider buying an iPhone again if they had the same gestures as android. Even after vowing to myself I'd never come back after the iPhone 7 slow down scheme. I can't stand having to click the corner to go to the previous page but apple is more compatible with most apps so I'm conflicted with my upgrade coming in a year. I resent Google pixel for making pay a subscription fee to have cloud storage when my phone has enough storage on it as it is.

It already has it and has had it for a very long time. When there is a back button on the top of the screen, you can swipe from the left edge to the right to go back. An app can override this feature if they wish, but there is no logical reason to do that and that would be a problem that only the developer could resolve. For all Apple apps and just about every app in the store, that is exactly how it works.
