Ethernet adapter for MacBook Pro 2024

Hi, I just purchased a MacBook Pro. It has the 3 Firewire ports that look like USB-C ports. I need to connect an Ethernet cable to it sometimes. Can I use a USB-C to Ethernet adapter in one of these ports? If not, what should I use? Thanks!

where to buy tunderbolt to MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017)without USB-C port I hope to connect to Ethernet my MACBOOKAIR 2017 to the ethernet. My machine doesnt have a USBC port but a Thunderbolt port I cannot findit googling nor on Amazon or Ebay Any hints Thanks
