How can I secure my Apple Account?

I’ve dealt with this for a long time. Finally in the past couple of years I’d had pictures, messages, calendar events deleted. I have missed many SMS codes. I changed my phone number, Apple ID & password numerous times. I created new email addresses to link to my Apple ID. I kept finding changes to my account that I did not make.

I believe the person who has been doing this had access to my home. They had our garage door code and I couldn’t get them to stop (I kept noticing things missing that someone who was proxy stalking me had mentioned) until I put physical locks on the garage doors. Also our Arlo cameras didn’t record when they were visiting us during covid. They had access to my password books and I did receive a bunch of requests for access and I approved them thinking it was my husband needing access to the AppleTV at home.

I’ve been asking Apple for advice, but nothing they have suggested has worked.

I suspect they installed a key logger in my home. Also through a cybersecurity consultant I learned that a person can buy access to all your text messages on the dark web for $10. I believe they may still have access to my text messages. I do not believe it is worth my time to change my number since they know all my family’s numbers and can stalk them until they learn my new number.

Here are a few things I did to stop the losses. 1) stopped using iCloud (I’m not sure if this is 100% necessary but it makes me feel better.) 2) use a password manager (I believe this prevents any key logger from access) 3) I turn off WiFi when I change my passwords (also to prevent key logger access) 4) **most importantly** I bought physical authentication keys on Amazon (Apple requires that you have 2 @ $75 each so that is pricey) but you cannot sign into your Apple ID without it.

I’ve been learning about cybersecurity to combat this and I do plan on learning more. It seems like hackers are constantly able to circumvent security measures. I am still considering buying a whole new phone with new number and new Apple ID.

Would love for anyone to share their thoughts on this matter.
