MacBook Pro (M1 chip) does NOT support DSC digital signer!

I purchased a MacBook Pro with the Apple M1 chip, but unfortunately, it's been rendered useless for my professional needs.

The issue: MacBook Pro (M1 chip) does NOT support DSC digital signer! I'm unable to initiate digital signatures using my Epass Token DSC or Proxykey DSC.

This means my MacBook is limited to entertainment purposes only (watching OTT platforms or movies). For any important work, I'm forced to use another laptop.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Are there any workarounds or solutions?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 15.2

You have told us the conclusion you have reached.

but since you have not described ANY of the steps you have taken to make certain that this works as the Developer intended, all readers here can do is say, "poor poor you!"

how about what steps you are supposed to be using?

does this require JAVA? have you installed JAVA?

are you sure you have the right kind of key, and it is being recognized as a key?

do you get any error messages?

how did you decide it is not working?
