All screens in iPhone had blur turned off after iOS 18 update

Did you save the picture as Wallpaper? That makes a huge difference with the blur.

• Open the photo you want to use
• Tap the three slider lines in the middle of the bottom row on the right
• Tap Crop
• At the top are three icons. Use the third from the top right, which is how you resize a photo
• Tap that and then slide over to Wallpaper, tap it and then tap done

Now, when you choose the photo, it will be sized optimally as a wallpaper and the blur shouldn't happen. And this by the way was really no different than in iOS 17.

On the line where you see Freeform, swipe there from right to left and you'll see Wallpaper
