I recently upgraded to iPhone 16 pro. I have a 2020 MacBook Pro. So can I charge my phone with the charger of MBP and the cable of the phone? Can this cable handle 60W power output of the charger?
Yes, but electricity doesn’t work that way. The battery will draw the amps/watts as fast as it can until it can’t go any faster. Sort of like the engine in your car. The maximum the iPhone 16 Pro can draw is 30 watts. The additional capacity of the charger is unused.
