I have had this phone since October. I have not had any issues with my previous IPhones going back to the 13 Pro Max. That is the main reason I switched to Apple, I had not heard complaints about the phones freezing or restarting and my Androids did it all the time. This is the first time I have no trust in Apple. I believe it had to do with them moving their production from China to India.
A screen freeze could be hardware issue or software issue. Have you done a forced restart? A forced restart does much more than just turning your device off and back on.

Try it multiple times. I’ve had to hold the power button waiting for the Apple logo 1 to 2 minutes before.
It won’t work, can you imagine not even being able to force reset a phone. I shouldn’t have to restart the phone in the first place.
