Screen Reader issues on CarPlay with iOS 18

Hi, this is my first time here. I listen to a lot of content using either screen reader or third party apps like Narrator, PDFAloud, etc. That’s my go to during my long commute to work. Everything was working great until I downloaded iOS 18. And now the voice just breaks and it is so frustrating. The problem doesn’t exist when listening to music. It only seems to be there for screen readers/narrators. I drive a 2024 Lexus RX 350. If someone can please help me resolve this, will really appreciate it. Thank you!
