Unable to set up sleep apnea notifications on my Apple Watch

Have Apple Watch Ultra 2 and iPhone 13, both with latest software updates. They will not let me set up sleep apnea notifications. I click set up sleep apnea’s notifications, then the next screen is grayed.

Scroll down to see all of the boxes you need to check, after that you can press continue


see this instructions for further reference


  1. On your iPhone, open the Health app.
  2. Tap Browse, then tap Respiratory.
  3. Under Sleep Apnea Notifications, tap Set Up, then tap Next.
  4. Confirm your Date of Birth and if you've ever been diagnosed with sleep apnea, then tap Continue. 
  5. Tap Next, then tap Done.
