Magic Mouse frozen

My Magic Mouse is frozen, with the pointer at the top LHS of my iMac. I have charged the mouse, switched it on/off and shut down/restarted the iMac a few times, but the pointer remains frozen. Any ideas? The iMac and MM are just over 12 months purchased.

How to unfreeze a mouse with 24" iMac M-1 chip No technician has been able to solve this problem. Even a new mouse does not function. After entering my password the screen opens and the cursor is frozen. I have spent hours with technicians who are stumped. Disk utility proves that all is okay. The mouse works to do things at the computer with the technician, but it freezes by the little apple in the top left corner of the screen after the opening screen pops up. I am not able to open anything or go anywhere with the mouse. I bought a new mouse, charged it, but also did NOT fix the problem.

iMac freezes every time I use the mouse iMac freezes every time I use the mouse.It taked about 20 to 30 secnds each click and it feez again. Its a 27inc purchased 2012 . I have worked at it over the last 48 hours nothing has changed. [Re-titled by Moderator]

What I would to is to use another mouse for a while, and charge your Magic Mouse for a prolonged period of time to see if the issues persist
