Can Apple Watch Series 10 detect Tattoos?

Any ideas on whether Apple Watch will ever work with tattoos?

I’ve got the series 10 and I have a small leaf tattoo that covers a little bit of the sensor but it won’t register that it’s on my wrist at all.

I’ve had to turn off wrist detection but that makes the watch unable to track sleep features which is one of the reasons I bought it.

I’ve seen people talk about epoxy stickers but I’m not sure whether this actually works

The sensors that detect that your Watch is on your wrist and offer other functions can have problems with wrist tattoos, and absent Apple or someone developing a completely different technology, not an easy or probably inexpensive item of research and engineering, it's not an issue that's reliably solvable. The simplest solution, though probably not the most convenient one, is to shift your Watch to your other wrist.
